The Archives is also home to The Jack Bradley Collection (more than 200 rare Armstrong recordings and one cubic foot of ephemera from Louis’s photographer, friend and foremost collector), The Phoebe Jacobs Collection (eight cubic feet of personal papers, correspondence, photographs and ephemera related to Ms. Jacobs’ work with Louis and Lucille), and The Wingy Manone Collection (two cubic feet of scores, papers and recordings, as well as a trumpet belonging to Wingy Manone, the New Orleans trumpeter who was Armstrong’s contemporary).
